Czech Business & Trade Representation in Canada

Key Points

There is no independent “Czech Chamber of Commerce in Canada” in the traditional sense.

Instead, representation is managed through official trade and investment agencies (CzechTrade, CzechInvest) operating under the Czech Consulate, plus an independent bilateral community association (CBAC).

These complement what the CCEB offers: strategic visibility, communication bridging, and introduction platforms—without transactional or consulting services.

1. Czech Business Association of Canada (CBAC)

  • A non-profit organization, founded in 1999 (Western Canada, later national).

  • Serves as a networking platform for Czech and Slovak professionals and companies in Canada.

  • Hosts events, seminars, and trade missions, and promotes business ties on both cultural and economic fronts.

Address:

300-340 Midpark Way SE
Calgary, Alberta
T2X 1P1 Canada

Telephone: (403) 264-5150

2. CzechTrade Canada

  • The official trade-promotion agency of the Czech Republic, with offices in Calgary and Toronto, often within the Czech Consulate General.

  • Offers B2B matchmaking, market intelligence, and partner identification across sectors like agriculture, ICT, aerospace, metallurgy, and energy.
